The town of Smixi, one of the numerous breath-taking highland villages of the region of Grevena, is located 38 km from the town of Grevena.

A forty-minute drive on good asphalt paved road takes you through the villages of Mavranaioi, Anavryta, Alatopetra, Polyneri and Filippaioi to your magical destination of Valia Nostra.

 

 



Smixi is situated in the valley of the river Smixiotikos, 1.250m above the sea level and is the last village before the ski centre of Vasilitsa (6 km distance), which is regarded as one of the most beautiful ski resorts in Greece. There skiing can be experience until late spring. The entire area, with its dense forests, beautiful meadows and continuous change of colours emit a sense of peace and tranquillity.
